It was 1970 when I first became a COP, i.e. accepting the Covenant Of Purple. There are many folks from the Purple People Eater years all over the country who are not native to Minnesota, like myself. I have remained loyal for 39 years, never changing my allegiance in the lean years. Great week of being at 6-0 (hope our injuries are not serious) and beating "the other" purple team from balto. I also want to say a prayer to the Universe for last year's loss of Karl Kassulke, and also a prayer for full recovery of Kenechi Udeze.
